“The Riata Motel is Marfa's most reasonable accommodation. The Riata meets all the basic needs for an affordable stay. The rooms are large. The beds are comfortable. The restroom is clean. There's a microwave oven and small freezer/refrigerator, also. Our room had a very nice sofa and large screen TV. There's great ice available in the lobby. This is our choice when we visit Marfa.”
“Very interesting and unique way to stay in Marfa. It was very quiet and easy to get to. We loved the view out of the windows and felt it was remote enough for us to unwind.
The wifi was a bit difficult but that was due to a lot of recent storms in the area. I had to reset the router and it is password protected unlike how the desk said it was unlocked. However the password for the regular wifi works on the specific containers router.”
“Room was clean, spacious. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel was quiet in spite of being fully booked with workers in large trucks. I was up and out earlier than the breakfast buffet which begins at 6 AM.”
