"We enjoyed our stay. The young woman who greeted us at check-in was lovely. She provided a brief history of the inn and escorted us to our room. Breakfast was outstanding! "

"The house and the weekend were fantastic. The house is very comfortable and well stocked. We had 10 people and it was perfect. Will definitely stay again next time we need a rental on Sugar Hill. Thanks Wendy! "
"Check in was easy, front desk was terrific explaining everything the Inn offered with our stay. We had the Perennial cottage which was terrific and offered some privacy. Restaurant was great, service was wonderful and the food at both dinner and breakfasts was excellent. Highly recommend this Inn to stay, nice quiet property in Franconia. Pool was a nice plus as well."
"Stonybrook is a classic roadside motel. I'm not sure how long it's been around, but it's in decent shape. Sure, it could use some paint and a refresh on furnishings, but I found it clean and comfortable enough in a quiet and attractive setting. The only disappointment was the breakfast, which was pretty lame. The coffee was terrible. Still, I'd return."

10/10 Excellent
"It would be unfair to say it’s rare when a property comes as advertised but when a rental is exactly as described, especially one to accommodate 14 people ranging in age from 3 to 73, it is both a pleasant surprise and a relief. The Holden Frost House checked all our boxes and exceeded our expectations. The layout was perfect, almost inn-like, with a great room for everything from morning coffee and reading to evening TV watching and games. The bedroom layout allowed each family to have their own area, including the two oldest folks to have some seclusion at the north end of the house. The game room kept the kids occupied in the evening and was a nice option during the one rainy day we had.The kitchen and all the appliances were clean and updated. There was an abundance of dishes, glasses and silverware for use by our tribe that included five kids who had no problem using multiple glasses and dishes whenever the feeling moved them. Thank goodness for a dishwasher. The property is gorgeous, the pool refreshing, and the hot tub inviting for end-of-the-day relaxation. The location allowed the younger families to have day trips to Lost River Gorge and Santa’s Village. And just before the entrance of the driveway, is Robert Frost’s homestead and museum. The property managers were very responsive both before and during our visit. All in all, we could not have had a more perfect site for our annual extended family gathering and are planning to return next year."
Charming, dog-friendly cabin with a full kitchen, free WiFi, & private hot tub

"The place was fantastic. Great central location to get places for a day hike and enjoy the local area. The house itself was huge and very spacious, we never felt too crowded. The hot tub was great and very clean. Would definitely stay here again. "
Dog-friendly home with stunning views & balcony, near Cannon Mountain
4/10 Poor
"The location was great - right around the corner from Echo Lake, close to many trails, 15 minutes from Lincoln. The view was PHENOMENAL - sunset over the mountain every evening. New kitchen appliances were a nice amenity, and was stocked with all the tools you could need to cook a meal (kitchen tools are all pretty "used" but they're there!) Fairly private spot, but not secluded by any means. This didnt bother is much, but its an older property without many updates at all. It is charming and big enough for the whole family. The front screen door has no handle, the window screens are ripped, some windows do not open at all. Furniture is very "vintage" but the couches are SO comfortable and the dining table seats 8. TVs in the great room, bunk room, and 1 bedroom. Internet is not high speed, but good service. There is no yard. There is a broken shower door upstairs. The porch is in need of repair. The grill was too dirty to use. Many of the linens stained. Some lightbulbs need replacing. Fireplace was out of order. We arrived late afternoon to no running water, and attempts for resolution were futile until late the following morning. We woke up every morning at 530 to construction right outside our window that we were not informed of, and were trapped or blocked out of the property a few times as they were digging up the road. Also note - this property is on a resort with many other vacation homes, which surprised us."
"Stayed overnight to see Ice Castles. Condo was comfortable and perfect for our overnight stay. The fact that it was snowing made it even better. After our venture we returned to our lodging and had hot cocoa and played games. Scott was gracefully accommodating when we had to reschedule from our original booking due to a snowstorm. A great time was had by all. all.snowstorm. Scott "

"We enjoyed all of the little sweet nick nacks and artwork scattered throughout the home. You get a real sense of a family home where lots of memories were made. Very cozy. There were clear notes left too that helped us find our way around the thermostats, doors, windows, etc. It was a sweet spot to dwell in for our ski getaway."
"The pictures of the property that we were staying in did NOT reflect the current conditions of the home. The house was attached to a motel no big deal but the access from the office of the motel came directly in the area where we were staying and we were unable to lock from our side.
The house itself was in need of serious repairs! Peeling paint and wallpaper. Heat that didn’t work very well, no hot water. Half of us didn’t even shower while we were there (4 days). When we brought it up to the property manager we were met with rudeness and a feeling of inconvenience. He fixed the water but then we didn’t have any cold water. There were cracked pipes and he stated the property should have never been rented. No kitchen trash, dish sponge or kitchen towels. The dishwasher was Jerry rigged and the kitchen sink leaks. The upstairs bedroom has a bunkbed and my 6 year old couldn’t even fit up into safely. It should not be counted as a bed. We needed to use a blow up mattress to accommodate everyone. Overall subpar experience but we made it work. I would not recommend especially for amount of money we paid per night!!!!"

8/10 Good
"Overall the property was perfect for our group. 3 couples touring the fall foilage. House was clean, hot tub worked great.
When we arrived we had no hot water. There was no heating oil. We reported it to Vacasa and the problem was fixed the next day. Suggestion to the owner FILL THE FUEL TANK!! Dont just put a couple gallons in. Other than that we loved the house, loved the location, fall colors were beautiful.
