“Properly marketed and described. No particular amenities (aside from WiFi), but lots was apparently available at the mother ship, in town. But I wasn’t there for amenities, and I expect most guests weren’t. Clean room, easy parking, my dog was welcome. Busy road out front, but set back far night that I never heard any noise from there. Good place, would recommend ”

“Everything seemed very good about our stay here—nice staff and clean room. However, the day after I discovered that I had multiple bites all over my body which must have occurred that night. Unfortunately, I can’t think of any other explanation besides the presence of bed bugs or some kind of bug in the bedding :/ ”

“Great stay in this historic location! Room was clean and comfortable, but be prepared to step back in time! We were in room 206 with a great back door onto a patio overlooking the pool. We were in town so my wife could be an exhibitor at the Berkshires Art Festival. The included breakfast was incredible! But so you know it was about a mile down the road at the Southfield Store. “My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Windy Top stone cottage. It was very quiet, clean, and beautifully decorated and surrounded by lovely gardens. It had an awesome stone fireplace too but being hot weather we did not have a chance to enjoy it. Perhaps next time, during the colder Winter months. We would definitely return. ”

“This property is AMAZING! It is in a circa 1820 house with all the associated charm. My friends and I were attending a dog show in West Springfield. This was close enough for a short drive to the venue, but remote enough to provide all the peace and quiet you need. The owners are extremely accommodating with dogs. Those that show dogs truly appreciate this and it made for a fantastic experience. The dogs loved it too! If back again, I will definitely look to book the house again. ”

“A charming old manor from the Gilded Age, thoughtfully updated and modernized without losing the soul of the original home. Incredibly comfortable rooms, inviting common spaces, excellent breakfast, beautiful grounds, and friendly staff. We especially enjoyed the fireplace in our room.
