Friendly stay
Very welcoming to a very comfortable room. We took dinner at one of the local pubs - but be early as they do stop serving food. Ample parking - although I think it was very quiet. It was an icy night - and unfortunately, the heating failed, so it was chilly in the room. Nice and clean - bathroom too.

Surround house made use feel very welcome, it was our first stay away from home since the pandemic, but everything was very clean with hand sanitizers in all rooms they have done everything possible to make you feel safe in these strange times. I would highly recommend it as the place to stay in Gretna. Mr Mrs M. Howard

Fantastic location, wonderful hosts, exceptionally clean. Rooms are lovely, extra lovely touches, gorgeous bedding, fluffy towels, molten brown products in the bathroom. Yea & coffee facilities. Breakfast was lovely, would definitely stay again. Thank you Christine & John.

Just Perfect.
A lovely stay in very clean and comfortable accommodation. Everything meticulously clean, very welcoming and helpful hosts, superb breakfast, and a lovely touch with Mouton Brown toiletries in the ensuite. The bed was extremely comfortable. The property was easy to find with plenty of free on-site parking. Overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

Surrone house was absolutely amazing. We had a warm welcome. The room was pristine and the beds were comfy. The breakfast was delicious and made to order. Could not find a single fault.

Beautiful little place ideally positioned for all you could need. Restaurants within 100 yards Pub 150 yards Shopping centre 200 yards Coop 200 yards. Great hosts who do everything right. Breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had.

Great location and very clean
The hosts were welcoming and the room was very clean. The location was great and breakfast was very tasty. The one problem for us was that room itself was very small with only one chair and a stool so it wasn’t very comfortable to relax in. We were having a night away celebrating an anniversary so we were disappointed with the room.

Lovely accomodation, very clean & spacious room.Bed was very comfortable We only stayed one night to break up our journey. Hosts were very friendly & informative about the area. Breakfast was lovely. A large retail outlet within walking distance, also a couple of places to eat, 2 minutes down the road..

Great place to stay
Very nice hosts, and within easy walking distance of several restaurants and shopping centre. Plenty parking options onsite, room was comfortable for family of three and property was very clean in all areas. Great breakfast and overall pleasure to stay and would recommend for sure.
