Seul Choix is a french word which translates to "only choice". Legend has it that a group of french voyageurs were forced to take refuge here during a storm as it was their 'only choice'. The birdhouse was built by the son of one of the keepers over the course of a long cold winter. It is an authentic reproduction and has recently been restored.

"Awesome view from every room! Love that there is a door on both sides: one facing the parking lot and one at the opposite end to go out to the lawn and see the water. Each room has two chairs outside their door and there are many more lawn chairs down near the water and scattered throughout the enormous yard. We watched a beautiful sunset sitting down by the water. The hotel is not updated inside, but that just adds to the relaxed charm and quaintness. My only comment would be that a folding suitcase stand and another piece of furniture in the room would be nice so there is more counter space."
