“The property seemed clean and comfortable. The heating system worked well. We cooked several meals there and enjoyed 4 nights of excellent sleep. We also used the outdoor grill, using wood, and found it easy to use as well. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Our visit worked out exactly as hoped, giving us the perfect central location to get to Oswald’s Bear Ranch, Pictured Rocks, Kitch-iti Kipi , Tahquamenon Falls, and Benny the Beard Fisher. A few things to keep in mind though when you choose this property: the upstairs bedroom is an open loft (without a door for privacy), evening dining on the rear deck has a lovely view but is subject to loud road noise, and if you have someone sleeping on the pullouts in the living room it is quite comfortable...

“Brought our granchildren from North Carolina to see the U.P. Saw Soo Locks, Tahquamenon Falls,Miners Falls, Pictured Rocks, Seul Choix Pointe Lighthouse, water tower in manistique & fish Hatchery,Kitch-iti-kipi, & Oswalds Bear Ranch we loved the sauna & bonfires & family time!”

“The cabin was centrally located. The cabin was nicely decorated and in excellent condition. Everything was in working order and in good shape. We took day trips to Pictured Rocks, Munising, Marquette, Manistique, Tahquamanon Falls, Paradise, Grand Marais, and Fayette Historical State Park while we were there. We ate dinner at the cabin all but one night since it had a well-equipped kitchen and a good gas grill on the back porch. If we are able to visit the UP again we would be happy to...

“Great property in a great location. We had a group of 6 of us that have been coming up to the UP for 10 years snowmobiling and are always looking for a nice place. This definitely qualifies. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Nicely remodeled, great views, easy lake access. Plenty of parking area. Would recommend, and will try to stay here again!”

“The place was great! Annie was awesome to work with. It's a beautiful quiet lake. I've been coming to this lake for years. But first time staying here. We loved it. Plenty of room for everyone. There is no Internet, but it was actually kinda nice. Took the kids sometime to get used to that . It was fun watching DVD's and VHS with the kids.Great beach area and dock to enjoy. “My wife and I stayed at one of the cabins so we could be a shorter drive from Grand Marias. Check in was easy, cabins were exactly as described. Boomer went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and even showed my wife the not yet renovated cabin left on the property (she’s nosy). “Clean and cute, and just right for 3 of us to be based out of when we hiked at Pictured Rocks. Boomer was very friendly and told us the story of how the cabins came to be. Seney itself was quiet with not much happening, but a good place to sleep between Grand Marais and Munising.”
