“Very cozy loft- worked great for us 2 adults and 2 kids. Lots of screened window ventilation and fans to help with airflow- which also provided good white noise to be able to get up and get breakfast going without waking others. Loved falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Beach access was amazing. Would come back.”

The beautiful lake and kayaks, bonfires, lovely perennial gardens, crisp linens, thick towels, water and snacks, nice continental breakfast, lovingly restored historic mansion-sanitarium-resort with a mixologist at the bar made our anniversary weekend a perfect get-away! The friendly staff and owners paid attention to every detail.”

“The house was clean, and there were nearby stores if you needed something urgently. However, the main issue was that the entire living room wall power outlets were short-circuited, preventing access to the TV and power outlets in that room and one of the bedrooms. The recliner couches were also unresponsive. I had to reach out to the owner and inform them that the situation was becoming too challenging for us to figure out whether the TV or power outlets were working. It took me about an hour or……

“I guess this could pass as a campsite. If you don’t mind being surrounded by trailers and storage vehicles on the side of a busy rural highway. If you are looking for an up north Mi camping experience you are hereby forwarned this is not the most scenic campsite! Not mad, just disappointed.But everyone’s gotta make a buck I guess. We decided to not stay the night and instead made the 6 hour trek home a day early. ”

“My husband and I had a perfect Valentine’s getaway here! The host was so friendly and incredibly quick with informative replies. The location is unbeatable—just one street from the snowmobile trails and close to gas and town. We had zero issues parking our truck and 28ft trailer, which was a huge plus.The house was so cozy; after long chilly days on the snowmobile trails, the extra blankets and the surprise boot/glove dryers were total lifesavers! The kitchen was well-stocked (loved the air……
