We enjoyed staying in the rustic cabin. Definitely a retro vibe back to the 1950's and 60's, but we found the water hot, the furnace just right, and the kitchen had dishes, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, and even a hot plate.
The cabin was small and cozy. The bed was comfortable. Nothing fancy but a good place to rest. Our cabin was near the front of the property and there was a lot of road noise.
Affordable stay in the heart of Tourist spot. Staff is very friendly and very helpful. Cozy little cabin, all amenities are provided. Only one critic I would say is that it need a bit of updating. Overall Great place to stay.
Very nice place, loved staying in our own cabin. Rustic but had everything we needed and was clean. Check in was quick and easy. Lots of close parking. Had our own fire pit, and was able to purchase firewood there. Overall great experience.

The location was perfect for exploring Banff and the area. The chalets are basic and rather rustic - as long as you book with that expectation in mind, it should be a perfectly functional accommodation for a few nights.
Well equipt and cozy chalet near the entrance of Banff National Park. Not so far from the grocery store. The hosts are wellcoming and help you in every thing.

Pet friendly, helpful staff, kitchen had many amenities. Condition of facility is quite run down. I stayed there about 10 years ago and it was about the same. Nevertheless it is a low cost option for a very expensive area.
Very clean, very friendly staff, surprisingly quiet inside given the proximity to the highway. Definitely rustic in a time capsule kind of way. If you want a modern hotel go on into Banff and pay the extra few hundred dollars but this feels like good value.
Love the convenience of the location by the gates of the national park. The cabin was clean and cozy. The little kitchen does allow you to make simple meals. You are very near the highway so it isn't the quietest of locations. The bed was reasonably comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Easy check-in. Had a basic cabin and there are many practical touches put into the space. Not the most updated property, though looks as though some improvements are underway (some new roofing appeared to be in process). Met all of our needs, comfortable bed, decent kitchen supplies to make some of our own food, good location if you're ok not being in Banff or Canmore proper.
The staff were very friendly, hospitable, and considerate throughout our stay. The cabin furniture is a little outdated, but everything was clean and in good working order. We especially appreciated Henry taking the time to personally approach us, thank us for our business, and wish us a good trip. That thoughtful gesture really stood out and made us feel welcomed and appreciated.
Had a fantastic stay at Rundle Chalets! We booked a 2-bedroom chalet and it was clean, cozy, and very well-maintained. Having effective heaters in the room kept everything warm and comfortable.
One of the best highlights was having a bonfire right outside our chalet, which made the evening super enjoyable. Drive-up parking right at the doorstep was extremely convenient. The location is ideal—close to both Canmore and Banff without being overly far from anything. Exceptional value for the price. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Awesome location! Needs some upkeep work! Beds were not comfortable!
The hotel was a great place to stay while I visited the sites of the area. I found the room very comfortable to return to after a day of physical activity. Even though the room and amenities were a bit small for my stature, I found that opening the windows gave me the most restful sleep I've had in some time. I will be returning.
Loved our stay here! The cabins are teeny tiny but in a perfect location if you’re wanting to experience Banff and Canmore. Would highly recommend if you want to save some $ on a hotel, as they are much pricier in the downtown areas.
