"This is a beautiful place. Plenty of room for our family. 3rd bedroom does have a separate entrance but, it was fine for our older kids! Beautiful drive to get there and beautiful views. It is a drive from bigger areas but, we travelled most of the island so it was kinda in the middle. Would definitely stay there again"

"Fantastic! Hidden paradise!!! Our room had a nice view of the ocean! Plenty of parking and very clean rooms. We stayed in one of the one bedroom units and it had plenty of space for our family of 4. Loved having laundry in the unit as well! "

"We absolutely loved this place! The yurts exceeded our expectations (which were high). They were spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated, extremely clean, and SO comfortable! The couches, beds, and pillows were so soft and cozy. Best night’s sleep we’ve ever had on vacation. The location was very private and quiet and beautiful. A perfect get-away. John was very friendly and nice and easy to work with. He was available to answer any question or help in any way needed. We only wish we had stayed longer. Will definitely come back next time we visit this island. This place is a gem. "

"What a beautiful home overlooking the ocean. You see local fishermen late at night and early morning fishing off the cliffs surrounding the house. Lots of beautiful decorative touches in the house and lots of ocean exposure. Much has been done to maintain the house against the salt corrosion. Peaceful place far from town to relax"

"This was our first time vacationing on The Big Island after many years of visiting Oahu, Kauai and Maui. This island and THIS HOUSE were worth the wait!!! We have absolutely loved our stay enjoying the amazing view, pool, deck, house and VIBES. Dan was a wonderful host, great communication. "We loved living here! For two incredible weeks, this home was our personal slice of paradise. We lived with the windows and doors open nearly all the time, letting in the breeze, the birdsong, and the peaceful rhythm of the island. Our daughter loved sleeping on the futon on the lanai most nights, falling asleep under the stars and waking up to the sounds of nature.The house was peaceful, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped for a comfortable, restorative stay. We picked fresh mangoes from the front yard, made fruit salad with local pineapple, and enjoyed sunsets every evening from the lanai.We snorkeled at several beaches around the island and especially appreciated the convenience of Pebbles Beach right at the bottom of the hill—perfect for a quick swim or quiet sunset stop.The location was perfect—quiet and tucked away, yet close enough to beaches, coffee farms, and island adventures. Everything was clean and well-stocked, from the kitchen to the beach gear. It felt less like a rental and more like home.Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us. "This is our second time to stay here. We loved it, and came back because it was so quiet and comfortable, and such a beautiful place and view. The yurts are well equipped and clean. The elevation makes for comfortable cool, but not cold, nights. The central sky light is spectacular at night with so many stars. It is calm and quiet and beautiful with various flowers. But it is easily accessed from Kona South Point and Volcanoes National Park. If we get back to the big island again, we hope to stay here once more! "
