“Beautiful apartment, had everything we needed for a one night stay and a close walk to city centre, would definitely stay again.”

“A great location and a nice place to stay”

“Overall, we had an okay stay, but I feel the property was overpriced for what it offered. The location was convenient, around a 30-minute walk or 25-minute bus journey into York city centre. Having on-site parking was a real bonus, as was the nearby supermarket. We also appreciated the baby gate on the stairs, and our children loved sleeping in the bunk beds. However, there were several issues that affected our stay. The property is advertised as a two-bedroom apartment, but in reality it has……

“Location is very good with everything needed just nearby. The room is clean and comfortable and we didn't use the kitchen so much just for occasional use the oven.”

“Very clean and fully equipped lodge. Comfy bed, table and chairs settee and small tv. The property is central to all our needs, with great pubs, restaurants and an amazing air museum all within a short drive.. Evenings by the fire pit, are a must. We will definitely be back ........soon”

“This place is good - recently renovated and is in very good condition, nice furnishings. Overall very clean. Had all the basics you need. Fast Wi-Fi. Big fridge. We liked the walk into town along the river - we didn’t need the car all day. Hosts had good comms. Definitely cosy -the place is in a row of small terrace houses- it is small but cute…and very noisy (thump/creaky) when downstairs and someone is walking around upstairs. Impossible to cool the place down in the very hot weather we had.……

“Property very clean, easy check-in, good communication from the owner. Will return.”

“This was an outstanding stay! Very comfortable. They had everything you could want/need in a short term rental. I was able to fix several meals in the kitchen with ease. The only hiccup was that the place hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupants when we arrived. It was an oversight that was quickly remedied with the cleaning crew arriving soon after we communicated the problem. The host was easy to reach and apologetic. Even with this minor inconvenience, I would definitely recommend this……

“Superb property in Church Fenton. Perfectly situated for trips to York, Leeds and other places in Yorkshire. The property itself was high quality and thoughtfully appointed. Will definitely be back to stay, highly recommended.”
