“traditional pub with very friendly staff and good quality food. the flat is above the pub but has its own entrance. You can hear people downstairs but this didn't disturb us. We ate both evening we were there and it was excellent and very good value. The flat is in the oldest part of the pub and as such the door frames are low but the ceilings are fine. There was everything we needed and it was nice and clean. Very good value for 2 couples.”

“This turned out to be a home away from home.
Our hosts were superb, making sure we settled in and were comfortable.
There were lots of little details that made our stay enjoyable and memorable. Items such as the history, displays, wildlife and so forth.
The only true and meaningful compliment that we can offer is: Would we return? Absolutely. In fact, we are already starting our plans for that return trip.”
