"We were met graciously and given snacks and water. We spent a quiet night in clean well appointed room. There is even a patio with picnic seating and a grill. It was a nice stay after a long ride. "

"They tried hard in an old motel. Nice new linens, free snacks, still had a smoky old Motel Smell But again, they tried hard to cover up and I applaud the effort. "

It's affordable, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was very clean, and they have a great little pool for those very hot summer days. The family who runs the hotel are lovely too. I couldn't ask for more in a budget-friendly hotel. If you're exploring the gorgeous south end of the Eastern Sierras, this is a great option."

"Comfortable and clean! Friendly staff. Gave us a space to store our extra stuff so we wouldn’t attract bears in the Whitney Portal parking lot while we were backpacking and summiting Whitney. Great, comfy bed before heading up the trail!"
