"We had a great time staying at this location. The listing was correct. Everything was clean, well thought-out, and thorough. The layout of the space was funky (as are most old houses in Maine) but useful. We had no issues with heat, water, electricity, internet, or anything else. Cabinets, shelves, and drawers were labeled for ease of finding things. It was well-stocked with cutlery, plates, bowls, glasses, and the like. Appliances were functional. "Well appointed clean, comfortable apartment for myself and 3 colleagues. The only thing I would say is that there is one enormous bedroom and then a mid size room that is connected by a sliding barn door from a very small room without a window. This small room has the trundle bed. Might be perfect for a family- it was a little tough for 4 adults. Other than that is was great and Carmen and her husband were wonderful hosts!"

"We stayed over Thanksgiving and used both the main house and the cozy cottage. It slept all of us very comfortably, with nice beds and very nice finishings. The pre-placed water bottles and tea were especially welcome! The owner was very responsive to all questions. Our only regret was it was too cold to use the outside amenities!"

"Cottage is rustic but clean in an amazing location. The view out to the boats moored in the water is one of a kind. We cooked all our meals in the kitchen and it worked well for us -- good sharp knives was a plus. Being able to walk down the dock and get the freshest lobsters possible for an excellent price was the highlight of our stay.
