“Would have loved to have more time to stay at the property and enjoy the lake - it was beautiful! The house itself was fine - my friend described it as a giant shed. But there needs to be pillow protectors on the pillows - it sucks when you're a non-smoker, haven't brought your own pillows from home, put your head down late at night to finally go to sleep and get the stench of cigarette smoke. I don't believe anyone had been smoking inside but I do believe smokers had rented the property before……

“The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!”

“The room was clean and comfortable. However the aircon was too loud and l left it off mostly for that reason. I was unable to adjust the speed. Also, although new, the noise of the room refrigerator was noticeable. It ran for 8 mins every 25 mins and was somewhat disturbing throughout the night.
The other amenities were great, ie the cafe, fitness area and pool/ sauna..”

“We had an excellent stay. The property is located conveniently to Rockland/Rockport/Camden and even Waldoboro so we were able to go to The famous Moddys Diner! The unit was clean with plenty of linens. Washer and dryer, dishwasher- these amenities helped us to relax and enjoy our vacation. They had auxillary heaters but we didn't even need them it was so warm in there. The kitchen was stocked with enough implements which allowed us to easily make home cooked meals.
