“This is a quiet, well maintained and luxurious home with breathtaking views of the forest on the ocean. There is a swimming pool and a hot tub, both of which are clean and well-maintained. A lovely breakfast was included, which made it a very good value. The host, Lili was warm and welcoming. With only a seven minute drive to restaurants and a fully equipped shared kitchen, this property is recommended.”

“Joann is an absolutely lovely host, and serves a wonderful hot breakfast. The accommodations are reasonably priced, clean and the area is peaceful and quiet. I would recommend the House on Dunbar as an excellent option for a stay in Vancouver.”

“Beautiful place , enjoyed our stay. If I could make one suggestion it would be that they put in a a king size bed with a firmer mattress. That would level it up to 6 stars in my opinion. ”

“Absolutely loved our stay! Crystal was the sweetest host — warm, attentive, and always available, no matter the hour. She made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The breakfast was delicious and made with love. A true pleasure to have met her and to have spent a night in such a cozy, charming place. Highly recommend!”

“The suite is exactly as advertised. Bill, the owner was personable and welcoming. He even brought us eggs from his hens. The beds are comfortable. If you have mobility issues, this place may provide some challenges as there is a rock path and stairs that need to be navigated. I highly recommend staying here and enjoying the Sunshine Coast ”

“We enjoyed our stay -- comfy bed with nice linens, very clean, elegant breakfast, and great location. Although it is not an isolated home (neighbors are close), once inside it feels very cozy and relaxing. Short walk to Capilano suspension bridge and short drive (5 mins) up to Grouse Mountain. We drove 10-15 mins into North Vancouver waterfront area for some nice dinners out. Enjoyed conversation with Brian, our host, at breakfast. ”
