“Our stay at Urraca Private Island is the most awesome, memorable lodging experience we’ve had (and that’s saying a lot, because we travel frequently and have had many fantastic experiences). The place is amazing, kind of a cross between Swiss Family Robinson, Robinson Crusoe, and a high end Africa-style resort with adventure amenities like kayaks. And monkeys! This is the only place we know of that enables us to directly interact with sweet monkeys, even having one jump on our shoulders. The……

“Apartment Casa La Parc is operated by Mrs Magaly and her family, while we stayed there, they were nothing but the most welcoming people with Mrs. Magaly treating us like our own mother for the week, i couldnt think of a better place to stay with large rooms, great views and the most amazing service”

“We used Boca as a base to explore. The place is small but comfortable beds, full kitchen in our unit and a full shared kitchen across the hall. Air conditioning is quiet and powerful. Power outlets by every bed. Erica the manager is very friendly and helpful. The daily rate is unbeatable. A good supermarket around the corner. We stayed 4 nights. Consider take the bus and do the bat cave.”

“Great place to stay and get some rest. Very comfy, surrounded by nature, with private small pool. It's not super near to bocas town, but the owner reccomended a transportation that was available to drive us everywhere. ”

“Tropical private paradise. Beautiful rustic bungalow right on aqua waters. We came on off season and felt like we had the island to ourselves. There are kayaks to use as well. If you want more restaurants and life come in the main dry season. There is coral snorkeling nearby and an amazing indigenous guide and chef named Calypso who showed us all the local animals, sloths, monkeys, frogs, caiman and plant medicines. James the host answered any questions or needs we had. Be sure to ask him a lot……

“A perfect combination of private accommodations with access to a personal captain to travel to some of the amazing places the area has to offer. Plenty of wildlife including: Dolphins, starfish, sloths, monkeys, geckos, many types of fish and birds. Access to the kayaks and paddleboards was great too. Amazing how calm the water was a certain times of the day. ”

“Firstly, thanks to Rebecca for her communication and quick responses. This unit on the water was perfect for our stay in Bocas Del toro. It was close to groceries as well as restaurants so we had everything we needed. My only issue was that the chef knife was very dull and had challenges cutting up our tuna we caught. Would highly recommend staying there. ”
