“I recently stayed at Bamboo Valley Inn, and while I had high hopes based on its charming description, my experience fell short in several areas. First, I was disappointed to find that the claim of “breakfast included” was misleading. Upon arrival, I learned that no breakfast was provided, which was a significant letdown, especially since I had planned my mornings around enjoying a meal at the inn. “My family's (wife, young son, and I) stay here was extremely pleasant. We started off not knowing which building our stay was in, as there are multiple buildings on the property. We happened to be in the last building (T). I may have missed that somewhere, but we contacted Ana the host and she helped us out instantly.Overall, the place has everything we could ask for (with the exception of an elevator). “Friendly staff”

“Exceeded our expectations! From the easy check-in to the incredible breakfasts, the old-school pool and hanging garden, and an unexpected herd of deer running through the property, this was one of the most relaxing and tranquil escapes we’ve experienced. The town of Makawao gave us tasty afternoon meals (Satori!) and the beautiful mountain area provided plenty of scenic driving. Only advice I’d give is to plan to enjoy the space while you’re staying, as it would be a shame to not settle in.……
