"The host was fantastic and and very responsive. Some notes on the place: The bedrooms are larger than in the photos but are mostly empty beyond a bed and dresser. One room does have two twin beds as stated. One bathroom is downstairs and requires one to go outside to get too.The beach is too shallow and rocky for swimming but is a nice fishing area. The is a great convenience shop one house to the north (the blue building) with prices that are competitive with grocery stores but with varied open times. "

The backyard and pool were absolute highlights — our kids spent hours splashing and playing while we relaxed, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. The layout of the house made it easy for everyone to have their own space while still feeling connected. Everything was comfortable and well stocked — from kitchen essentials to pool and beach toys. It truly felt like a home away from home, only in paradise. We’re so grateful for the memories we made here and can’t wait to come back!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Scott’s rental in Kailua! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the beach, which truly felt like one of the best we’ve come across in O‘ahu. Having such easy access, along with convenient parking, made our stay even more enjoyable.Scott provided beach toys, surfboards, and a cart, which made our beach days easy and fun for the whole family. Communication with him was smooth, and he was always friendly and relaxed, which gave the stay a very welcoming feel.The rental is on the top floor overlooking a road with a bit of traffic, though it was never too bothersome. There’s no air conditioning, but the natural breeze through the open windows kept things comfortable. The house itself is very spacious, giving everyone plenty of room, and while some things like the kitchen supplies and bathrooms could use a little update, everything was functional and met our needs.Kailua itself is a cozy town with all the shops you could want, making it easy to grab anything you need. The location also worked well for exploring the rest of the island—close enough to attractions yet still peaceful and laid back.All in all, this was a great spot for our family. I can definitely recommend the rental and the location to anyone considering a stay here, and I wish Scott all the best. We had a great time in this part of paradise! "

"Our stay was absolutely perfect. The house is immaculate—sparkling clean, beautifully equipped with everything for daily life, and air-conditioned in every room. It truly felt like a home away from home.The view is breathtaking, with the majestic Koʻolau Range as a backdrop. The sandbar is just a short distance away, offering magical snorkeling experience. Down the hill is the Kaneohe Yacht Club, where our son loved his sailing camp, and in just a few minutes by car you reach the famous Kailua and Lanikai beaches.The neighborhood is peaceful, and the owner couple living next door are wonderfully kind and helpful. We couldn’t have wished for a better vacation home. This place gave us precious family moments and unforgettable memories—we can’t wait to return!"

"I checked in late after arriving into HNL at 7:30pm HST. Immediately felt comfortable - gated property, private entrance, obviously remodeled with new kitchen appliances, beatiful full bathroom w zero-entry shower (no basin or lip to step over). Fab breakfast in the am. Super comfy bed. Kitchen has just what you need. Easy to reheat leftovers; plenty of counter space for food, etc. Lovely spot outdoors for relaxing - loveseat and coffee table - fell asleep out there one evening! Great location near Nico's in Kailua with everything needed in shopping center across street and quick 5-10 min drive to center of Kailua. Short walk to beach; Kailua is probably one of the most beautiful beaches on O'ahu. LOVE the hosts - such aloha and malama (care) for their guests. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants a premier location in Kailua, lovely accomodations, with privacy and much aloha from hosts! Great job LaBellas!!!"
