"Tough parts were under construction (2 of 5 hot tubs and Kukui’s restaurant), the construction did not interfere with our stay. Kukui’s set up shop near the pool and the staff were very friendly. This hotel is very well maintained and a beautiful facility with a suer friendly staff. The only thing we wish we had was more places to hang our swimsuits in the shower. Nawiliwili Bay is large and has a massive beach which was never busy. There was no seaweed on the beach but there was a significant amount of driftwood which didn’t interfere with being in the water. The waves were pretty small but there was an area that was surfing quality (although we didn’t surf). It’s a short drive to the airport but you wouldn’t know as we didn’t hear any plane noise. The Royal Sonesta is a wonderful place and we had a fantastic time there."

"Beautiful ocean front condos with full kitchen and places to BBQ onsite. Located on Poipu Beach with spectacular views. Great for families with plenty of space for the kids to play and adults to relax. Definitely going back soon."
