“We had 3 16 year olds, 12 and 19 year old plus my boyfriend and myself stayed here for 5 days. The train through the back yard was awesome, the beautiful river, private dock and fire pit across the street was perfect. Having the kids crossing the road was really a non issue for us since they are older. I was worried about sharing one bathroom but we made out just fine also not having a TV worried me but turned out to be great. Got us to spend time together and looking for the next thing to do....

“Property was very clean, the only complaint was the amount of flying insects on the grounds outside the cabin. We used bug spray, but could not enjoy the beautiful outdoor space as we had intended to do. ”

“We enjoyed our little get away. The house was clean and didn’t smell as if pets had been there. The instructions were very helpful, especially for the driveway. It is in the woods, so bring bug spray if you want to sit out on the deck. ”

“Very nice place. Cute cabin with lovely views. The fire pit are with a covered couch swing is great for evenings. If you are an early riser, there are nice sunrise views of the mountains. Enclosed property so you feel safe at night. We even dozed off one night on the swing looking at the stars. Hot tub was good and seemed well cared for. The property is gorgeous, with trails that lead to the horseshoe pit and fire pit, as well as more incredible views of the mountains and valley below. “Very comfortable, well appointed house, with a spacious kitchen/dining room, detached playroom, plenty of room for kids to roam outside, and ample parking. Although the house is directly off Massanutten Drive, it was quiet and we had no adjacent neighbors so it felt like we had plenty of privacy for our group of nine people.”
