"Only stayed one night, couldn’t get a drink at bar as was after 10 when the bar closes, seemed a bit petty given we were residents. Breakfast was good and room facilities great. "

"We stayed in a family room. It was very spacious, clean and comfy. The Inn is not far from Kendal cbd (less than 10 min drive). The hotel does do dinner, it is a little pricey tho. The included breakfast was quite good (cereals and full english breakie style included in our stay). "

"We stayed at Armathwaite Hall for one night and it was superb. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and little touches made our stay very memorable such as a glass of prosecco on arrival and a card and some chocolates in my room for my birthday. We stayed in a Club room which was very spacious. We ate in the dining room which was pricey but the food was exquisite so worth the money. We also made full use of the spa facilities which are just heavenly and very relaxing. I would thoroughly recommend Armathwaite Hall to anyone even if only for a one night birthday treat. Superb! "

"Positives: Great location (5 min walk into town), out of season lots of parking available nearby, great breakfast choice, bed very comfy. Negatives: breakfast was too early (must order before 9 am), room was too small (not all rooms were like this), electricity cut out twice during our stay (host did make an effort to fix this)."
