"Very cute a-frame in pleasant neighborhood, home is totally private as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs. Home is very clean and well organized, lots of amenities and I loved that there was no tv though the boys grumbled a little at first (they ended the trip saying it was nice to not have the tv)! Super quick drive to Maxwelton beach. Host is very attentive and kind. Would highly recommend this property if you’re staying on Whidby!"

"What a beautiful, thoughtfully constructed cabin! It had all the amenities you could want. Lots of great information about the area. We had thought it would be a little closer to the beach but the walk really wasn’t too bad. The road noise was a bit irritating when you hanging out outside but didn’t affect our sleep. "Cute little place. Provided a keurig but only had tea. No big deal just noting. Bathroom lighting is not great. Heating is hot as hades or cold. Hard to find happy medium with baseboard heat but to be expected. If you’re parking an SUV, plan to finagle your way out. Overall, I was happy with this unit."

"There was Zero help from anyone.The toilet broke on our first day(monday)still wasn't working on Wednesday.We called in to the managers.Nothing but promises.SO we had to run into town whenever we had to go.(or out in the woods).The water system is not legal. "Amazing property and host. John was great and very responsive. Super cool waterfront cabin with beach access, a shoreline water pit and ramp for kayaks, etc. Great access to the village too. We will definitely be back and recommend this to our friends. Super memories."

"This was our second time staying at this property and we liked it as much the second time as the first! Our dog loves the fenced in yard (though she was able to get in under the deck, so if that could be closed off that would fantastic.) Plenty of space for a family of four. Great location and we love walking around the neighborhood and enjoying the view from the deck. Highly recommend!"

"The property's best feature is the amazing view. The area is nice and the house had lots of books, lamps, kitchen supplies and things to make it comfortable. Vacasa is another story. Very difficult in their correspondence and an unusually early check out time of 10 am. When asking for check out at 11 am, I finally heard back and they offered 2 pm for an extra charge! Rip off. Never was connected to the hosts, just Vacasa reps."

"Our stay was amazingly peaceful and for our family to join at a mutual location it was ideal - beautiful walks on the beach and the overall charm of the place made for a perfect Christmas--very spacious, beds perfect and the home had all the cooking utensils, gadgets, platters etc to accommodate our meals. "Loved the convenience of having the dishwasher, microwave, etc! Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged that within 2 minutes of your shower you were standing in a couple inches of water. Other than that very clean room, building and comfy bed. Shout out to the sound machine, without that it was so quiet in the room/building I couldn’t fall asleep. Would definitely stay again and look for Sonder in the next city we visit! "

"It was a really sweet area, perfect walking distance from some good lunch spots, beautiful gardened neighborhood. It was quiet, the other guests were hardly seen and never heard. Host was very organized and communicative. Check in was super easy and secure. Bed was very comfortable! Thank you 😌"
