There are better stays at comparable prices in the area, I wouldn’t return here. The hotel is dated (except for the lobby), so difficult to get into the parking, charged extra for the parking, no towels in the pool area, empty water carafes in the lobby, and the room bathroom is tiny. Nothing terribly wrong, but the lack of attention to detail and additional charges are not worth what they are charging.

We went to the Ocktober Fest in downtown Kitchner, and the location of the hotel was perfect. Right across from the hotel was the glockenspiel to get us in the Bavarian mood. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant for our check in and check out. It was a wonderful weekend. Thanks so much!

Staff were friendly. A strange combination of outdated areas and modern, refreshed areas. Ate in the restaurant which was fine, but a very strong smell of chlorine there. A definite odour in the hallway/room. Parking garage was confusing, tv in my room didn’t work, the heating/cooling system was so loud that I had trouble sleeping. It was fine for the one night I had to be in the city, but I don’t think I’d book again.

bathroom too small for person who has limited mobility, suggest that a safe bar should be installed on the other side of the tub, so it will be easier to climb in or out of the tub. Also no space to put your toiletry bags....

I had a really good stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which was a nice bonus. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and the property was well maintained. Everything was straightforward and convenient, and I’d definitely consider staying here again.

The hot breakfast is worth the $12, even includes a made to order omelette. The location was only 7 minute walk to our venue center in the square. Even the parking was 1/2 price than at the event. It may be an older building as some of the reviews mentioned but the value for the location and cleanliness was the best deal in the area. We will be staying again for our next show. We stayed on the 7th floor in the tower, huge quiet rooms as well.. Highly recommend.

Booking on the Expedia site allows you to choose options 1 of these 3 …. 1. No add on 2.Breakfast 3.parking One of the above not 2 of the options. So if by chance you drove a vehicle to the hotel ( which is likely as locals rarely require a hotel) and you require parking obviously parking is the option you choose ? Sadly because of apparently a glitch in the system between IHG and Expedia. Breakfast and parking is not available through the app.

The hotel is in a very good location in Kitchener, close to the Kitchener Farmers' market and a couple of good breakfast places. We were in Kitchener for an event at the Boathouse restaurant and the Crowne was a short walk. Parking was down an alley in a garage, but we had no problem going in and out. The towel hook in the bathroom was loose and the bathtub spout leaked when the shower was being used and needs a new cartridge. Otherwise the hotel was just fine, staff friendly and helpful, and as stated earlier, close to retail and farmers' market.

I was pleasantly surprised at how fantastic this hotel was. I booked it last minute and for the room rate I was extremely pleased with the hotel and the staff! The room was very clean, well appointed with traditional hotel amenities. The front desk staff...Kargi (sorry spelling) was especially professional and accommodating. Breakfast was included in my rate and had a wonderful variety. They have parking though I didnt need it. Great location. I will be back.

When I booked the hotel, the photos online were excellent. That said, a little disappointing when we arrived. The room (with a king bed) was tiny, especially the bathroom. The location, while in the heart of downtown Kitchener, is a little shady and the parking is not secure during the day. Staff were fine and always around to answer a question, however, our room remained untouched by the cleaning staff for most of one day, had to ask for it to be done, which they accommodated. The price was reasonable, it suited our requirements, I probably wouldn't book it again.
