"I LOVED the Sunrise cabin! It was camping but with a few amenities that made the experience much better than sleeping in a tent. Very peaceful and quiet and only a 10 minute walk to Lake Superior. The showers in the lodge were an added bonus. I definitely will be back and have already shared with friends, encouraging them to check out this awesome place!"

"We were able to go out to eat at some fun restaurants for supper each night. At the same time, we felt as though we were hours away from the hustle and bustle. Nature was all around, yet conveniences kept everything hassle free! We will recommend this get-away to friends and family. We will definitely come back multiple times."

"This worked perfect for our family and our stay, especially with our hound along for the ride. We’d like to return in the summer months to better be able to explore the trails. The one difficulty was the lack of heater in the cabin necessitating use of space heaters. While the cabin remained warm enough I was under the impression there was more centralized heating. Other than that we had no issues and really enjoyed our stay!"

"The lake and beach is beautiful. Our grandkids visited for 4 days and they spent hours playing around in the sand. Grand kids were able to see the numerous deer in the neighborhood. The cottage itself was well supplied. The drawback to the cottage is having the bathroom in the basement. There is no handrail on the basement steps, which makes traveling to the basement a bit of a safety issue. Overall though it is a very nice cottage in a good location"

"The cabin is situated in a nice quiet area. The amenities were just what anyone staying would need. It was very comfortable and fit our needs for our trip. The owners even contacted us to let us know we could check out later if we wanted! I would book this place again."

"We loved the property! The upper level was amazing for dining and hanging out. We spent lots of time on the beautiful deck and we used the awning. The pontoon was a huge hit and we fished and swam off the dock. We only used one of the fire pits, but really enjoyed it. The bunk house was used by two of us and was a lovely addition. The basement bedrooms were beautiful and all the beds were great! The hosts were very communicative and helpful. I will be booking this property again!"

"Have you ever booked a place, driven 5 hours, and then arrived to find out it wasn't as pictures showed. The minute I pulled up for my week long solitude retreat this place felt like home. I brought my inflatable kayak, a bunch of books & art supplies, and comfort food.....and it was a great way to just chill. Decided to venture out to Brule River for some hiking and kayaking adventures, and did not dissappoint! Great location, Great Spot, and perfect for a solo getaway."

"This place is a wonderful getaway to recharge. This is our 2nd visit and we are already looking when we can come back. The cozy, clean cabin is perfectly set on a beautiful private property with trails and nestled in the corner of peaceful Spider lake. The owners are so welcoming and have thought of many special touches ( super soft towels and bedding, toiletries and welcoming cold Wisconsin beer in the fridge). We enjoyed the pontoon, pedal boat, fire pit and of course a few friendly😉 rounds...

"Perfect site on the lake, Jon had everything in house just in case you forgot or needed something. Unusually hot for October and had an issue with AC, texted Jon and right away he let me know how to work the remote. The 3 tiered landscape with fire pit and grill area was awesome not to mention recreated stonehenge bar. Thanks, Jon"
