Dinner was absolutely superb. All three courses, worth staying at the hotel.
Breakfast was very average the next morning which was disappointing especially after the night before. I had poached eggs and the yolk was almost hard and the sourdough dry without butter. The young lady serving was attentive and very polite. "

"For some reason I was given a disability adapted room, and although it was lovely and comfortable and large, spacious etc, the bathroom sink was too low for me and also too small, and the seat in the shower was in the way but the fact it was ground floor suited my needs and don’t really have a negative impact on my stay as we stated for evening meal and breakfast.
The evening meal was superb and the staff were excellent and very helpful. "

"A characterful converted cow shed with roof beams, but decorated in a modern way with all you need, and a free jug of milk.The bed was comfortable, and there was a wet room shower.I could not see any way to open a window, which I would have liked, and the Wifi only worked in half the room, which I mentioned to the owner.We were welcomed and again had goodbye said to us as we left, which was friendly.We prefer a separate bed room as one of us gets up very early, but it was OK for one night.A pleasant spot with a good atmosphere."
