“River crest is a lovely comfortable well equipped cottage with everything we needed for our weeks stay. It was clean and has a good shower. The bed was cosy and comfortable. The best thing is the view across looe and out to sea. Looe is a very nice place to stay with good shops and pubs. It is handy for a number of national trust properties. Lanhydrock and Antony are worth visiting. Polperro Fowey and Seaton are nearby and worth a visit. There are steps down to the cottage which need care but we...

Sehr erfreut waren wir über das Willkommenspaket mit cornischen Leckereien. Dieses Objekt kann man auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier Urlaub machen. ”

“Quiet, rural, peaceful cottage. Very cozy for my wife and me, who are traveling from the United States. Hosts were very responsive to our questions. The only thing we would have liked to know in advance is that we needed to supply our own laundry detergent and our own additional rolls of toilet paper, as there was only one roll.”

“Clean tasteful barn conversion, pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but all you require within a 15 min drive.A great personal touch from the owners, which included a handful of food bags to feed their animals. “We had a lovely stay at this cottage being 5 adults and plenty of room but may of been a bit pushed if 6 for sitting room but perfect for us. It's a bit way out on single track road and at first was a bit worried about but found perfectly ok by end of holiday. Kitchen was lovely only downside but it didn't affect us a very small ice compartment but luckily we didn't get much frozen food . There are some steep stairs but a great hand rail so not a problem but worth mentioning if you have mobility...

“We have just come back from a week’s stay at this lovely home. We were first greeted by a bottle of Prosecco and some scones which was a lovely treat! The home is so spacious and has everything you need. We cooked most nights and the kitchen was well equipped! It is located down a private lane and is very quiet with stunning views. The location was perfect as you are only 5 minutes from Padstow. We will definitely be returning next year. ”

“Alles valt op zijn plaars. Alles is netjes en schoon. Barry en Kirsti zijn zeer gastvrij en losjes in de omgang. Geven tips als je er om verlegen zit. Omgeving is super rustig. We hebben echt genoten en kunnen dit verblijf zeer zeker aanbevelen als uitvalbasis voor dagtrips. ”

“We were 2 couples staying for a long weekend. 2 went to Rick Steins seafood school for a day course, and 2 decided to take a 4 hour walk around the beautiful headlands. The flat is perfect for this type of relaxing reunion, well equipped and nicely decorated. Super location. And free parking but only for relatively small cars. ”

" Las fotos publicadas no reflejan la realidad del hotel. El edificio es muy antiguo y está visiblemente descuidado, sin mantenimiento alguno. El personal de recepción fue poco servicial y proporcionó información incorrecta. La habitación que nos asignaron era terrible, muy diferente a lo que muestran en las imágenes. Curiosamente, vimos otra con la puerta abierta que parecía estar en mejores condiciones. Al leer opiniones de otros huéspedes, descubrimos que es común que asignen primero las peores habitaciones, y que si uno pide un cambio, a veces le dan una mejor. En nuestro caso, hacía muchísimo calor y la ventana apenas se podía abrir. Además, daba directamente al parking, por lo que cualquiera podría haber entrado fácilmente. La puerta de la habitación no tenía cerrojo interior, lo que nos hizo sentir inseguros durante la noche. El baño estaba muy deteriorado, al igual que todo en la habitación: viejo, descuidado y sin mantenimiento. Nos aliviamos al saber que solo pasaríamos una noche allí. Aunque teníamos el desayuno incluido, decidimos no tomarlo. La experiencia fue francamente horrible. No lo recomiendo bajo ninguna circunstancia. Nos dejamos llevar por las fotos del edificio y de algunas habitaciones que parecían prometedoras, creyendo que sería uno de los mejores hoteles del viaje. Lamentablemente, fue el peor. Aunque dicen que está en el centro, no había nada abierto cerca para cenar. En definitiva, una experiencia muy negativa."
