“Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by a bag of dog feces on the welcome mat. Im sure that wasnt from the property owner. There was construction debris all over the side and rear yard. Lots of nail filled lumber and chunks of wall substrate and drywall board. Took it upon ourselves to gather it up. Upon entering the home we found the furniture was falling apart. We also found that there was only 1 roll of toilet paper in 2 bathrooms and a half roll in the 3rd. Nothing to replace it with. There……

“Overall, the place is great! Every nicely appointed and furnished. Very cozy & met all our needs. Great location, close to Western and downtown. Excellent communication with and by our host. Only 2 drawbacks: i) outside entryway was rather overgrown with plants and need to be trimmed, which impeded access somewhat on the rather narrow walkway; and 2) the stairway up to the unit is in good shape, but is on the narrower side, and quite steep. So may pose difficulties for some with disabilities or……

“The picture of the full kitchen on the website was the kitchen for the family that lived upstairs only. The place we stayed was a basement apartment, which was not stated on the VRBO site. The microwave had cooked crumbs in it. The dish drainer was dirty and had a dirty coffee cup in it. The dishes were sparse, but there were plenty of silverware.There were no glasses, but did have 4 champagne glasses. Towels were ok, but there was only one washcloth (with a big hole in it).
