"A real gem in La Palma. Big house, plenty of rooms, great host. So much amenities and well stocked kitchen and various suppliers. There is also a almost hidden hiking trail right across the street which lead all the way right into the city."

"My husband and I enjoyed our two week stay in the house. It is spacious and comfortable and very well equipped, particularly the kitchen with the benefit of a dishwasher, large fridge freezer and oven . It was very quiet and peaceful at night. The front of the house is exposed to the wind but the compensation is a view down to the sea and of the mountains. There is no internet. "We had a good time at the home. Very interesting part of the island. The view was amazing. There are some simple steps the owner could take to significantly enhance the renter’s experience: We missed some items in the home scissors (can’t bring those on the plane!) cooking oil and salt and pepper. There is a noticeable odor left from smokers, but was otherwise very clean! The heater was not adequate to heat the home in 15 degree weather. The sheets were old and rough. "Excellently equipped property for the location. Good view of nearby islands and weather formations. We were very comfortable in this house. All needs were catered for and Antonio was really helpful and generous with lots of extra treats. This an excellent location for exploring some great walks in this beautiful and verdant area."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. It's a wonderful place to relax and forget the hassle and bustle of the city. We couldn't believe how quite it is. The cave is very cosy and comfortable and has everything you need. We felt very much at home. Grit, our host was very helpful and easy going. It's a great base for trips and hikes, but you definitely need a car. The steep road down to the property is a bit of an adventure, but you get used to it."
