“Great location, minutes walk distance to UVA and several restaurants. Very nice hotel owner and her dog. Cozy room and comfortable king bed. Excellent homemade breakfast. We’ll come back! Strong recommend to others. ”

“Remarkable Revalutionary and Civil War history. The grounds between the Inn and the river need some tender loving care; one small wooden bridge was left out of place; maybe from the last time they mowed and invasive plants such as garlic mustard are starting to move in.”

“Stayed here for a night on a road trip and I don’t think I could have made a better choice. Beautiful area, very homey and welcoming atmosphere, and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was delicious homemade quiche, along with other continental choices. Heidi was the inn keeper during my stay and she was an excellent hostess. Would stay again!”
