“My wife and I spent a very pleasant week at Cygnet Cottage, using it as a base to explore the Northumberland Coast and local area.This particular accommodation is ideal for a couple. “We stayed for a week in February, and it was fabulous. The weather was a bit damp on and off, but the Grooms Bothy was always warm and welcoming. (I want underfloor heating!). Itâ€™s well equipped, close to Kelso for everything you need, and in a quiet and pretty location. The owners live next door, and a with their 2 little dogs are friendly and on hand if you need something. The welcome pack of milk, snacks and wine was a lovely touch. “This is a smashing 2 bedroomed flat, tastefully decorated and with everything at hand for a very comfortable stay. The property has its own parking space in a yard at the back with a rickety path down to a fast flowing stream of water attractive and dangerous to my Spaniel....
