This was the most spectacular resort we have stayed at. The staff was friendly, the room was spotless, the beach was stunning! We were so happy to see a variety of spots to each. We look forward to coming back again! What a wonderful vacation we had.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lovely stay at Dreams Madeira We had a really lovely stay at Dreams Madeira. The resort was spotless, staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I’d definitely recommend booking a Preferred Club room — it really elevated the experience. The time of year we visited was perfect, not too busy, and the evening shows were great. The only areas for improvement were the restaurant booking system, which wasn’t very straightforward (we could only book via reception as Preferred guests), and the sun-lounger cushions — they weren’t always available and, when they were, some were a bit mucky. Easy enough to fix with a towel, but slightly off-putting. Overall, a wonderful experience — we’d happily return!

The property is in a nice location, however the service is really poor. Staff don’t seem to be trained as all in hospitality. Also, the buffet is terrible for lunch and dinner. The service in the other restaurants is really slow. The review here echos the experience of many others and surprised that Hyatt are not addressing it. I also messaged their concierge service about this and the response I got was since you booked through Expedia, please contact them. So looks like they are just ignoring the fact that their brand is being affected.

The check-in process took three hours, and unfortunately, our bags were delivered to the wrong room. Securing dinner reservations at one of the "exclusive" restaurants proved to be quite challenging. The buffet offerings for both dinner and breakfast were disappointingly cold and lacked flavor. In the evening, it was difficult to order a drink as the bar backs did not take orders only the waiters did. The accommodations were clean, and the pictures accurately represented their appearance.

The place was nice, the beach within the hotel is great, staff are all very friendly and helpful, and the activities held by the resort are lovely. However: The floor of our room was filthy and was never mopped by the staff when they cleaned during the time we were there. Two of us got food poisoning that lasted 24 hours (we only ate at the hotel). This caused one of us to be unable to attend the whale/dolphin watching and due to it being too short notice, we were refused a refund on the cost of the trip. There are no security cameras near the lifts and toilets, which is pretty worrying as a woman. We found this out because one of us accidentally left their handbag in the toilet near the restaurants for 30 minutes and upon returning, the contents of it had been stolen. The bar service is painfully slow, especially the bar near reception, easily waiting an hour to order and receive a drink.They also dont play music and it's just awkwardly quiet in there, but it's the only one open late. There is minimal evening entertainment and everything stops around 11pm. It's very dull. The Mediterranean restaurant was pretty bland, and the tappenyaki restaurant was nice but a pretty minimal effort from the chefs. The Aircon broke in our room on our penultimate night. We noticed in the morning that it no longer stayed on and just shutdown suddenly despite working fine before. As we were leaving early the next day we didn't bother raising this.

You do thorough research: comparing hotels, poring through sites’ pictures & amenities, factoring in location, expense & time…..all to ensure a rewarding vacation. While every person may have different tastes and likes, as an all inclusive resort, Dreams Madeira Resort, Spa & Marina, a luxury Hyatt collection hotel stands near the top. No need to read any further. Choose Dreams Madeira and then go get spoiled! Like myself, you’ll be patting yourself on the back, during and after your stay, for an excellent selection.

This 5 star resort is beautiful! Well kept. Rooms are amazing and very clean. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Their World Café International buffet restaurant had a great selection of food and lots of fresh local fruits! Service is amazing with cooked to order omelette station and cooked to order meats and fish to grill in front of you. The Cocoa Cafe is where you can order drinks and coffee drinks until 10pm. They also served sandwiches and tasty baked foods. The service here was superb! However, their a la carte restaurants need a lot of improvement. First of all, all their a la carte restaurants (except for the Você Beach bar and their sports bar restaurant) need reservation. Reservations are difficult to book through their online system. A la carte restaurants were disappointing and food & service was subpar. Seating areas by the bars and the pools were limited. It was a beautiful resort but didn't offer 5 star service overall. I would not go back or recommend this place. Not worth the money.

This all-inclusive resort had the best drinks and restaurant (not the buffet) quality I have experienced out of the 11 different all-inclusive resorts I have been to. However, the buffet was below average quality and made worse by being in a tight space for the number of guests they had. The staff were largely inexperienced, or lazy, and supervisors were working too much to be effective supervisors. The hotel itself is awesome with a village setting in a very picturesque location. My overall experience is good, but could easily been exceptional with better management of the staff and buffet.

Avoid at All Costs – Not a 5-Star Resort (Closer to 3 at Best) My wife and I stayed here 6 nights for our honeymoon (booked via Expedia) and it does not meet Dreams standards. We’ve stayed at Tulum, Riviera Maya, Cabo — this resort doesn’t compare. Arrival: No welcome drink/towel, no luggage help, no escort, phones never worked (safety issue). Room Service: €20 per order, limited menu, late-night “option” was a cold ham & cheese bagel. Phones broken, so all requests had to be made in person. Towels/Housekeeping: Inconsistent service, fresh towels only with tips, many ripped or stained. Pool towels only from 1 far location and had to be signed out. Water/Drinks: Bottled water scarce, gym cooler broken, alcohol bottom shelf, wine upgrade €35. Cleanliness: Stained curtains/sheets, dirty glasses/dishes, ant infestation in room and buffet, insect in bathtub, mouse at restaurant. Food: Often cold/bland, poor variety. “Unlimited à la carte” misleading — reservations almost impossible. Service: Minimal to non-existent. Long waits for menus/water, staff disengaged, language barrier huge. Facilities: Pools freezing, spa unusable 2/3 days with chemical issues. Lobby bar too small, toiletries poor quality. Departure: No help at 3 AM checkout, staff didn’t ask about our stay. Not a 5-star property — major issues with service, food, cleanliness, and management. Strongly recommend avoiding.

Absolutely the best All-Inclusive resort in Madeira. Dreams is a recently re-branded hotel resort complex covering a vast area from the beach all the up through a mini village. With a variety of rooms, and services on offer including restaurants, cafes and pools. Staff are incredible, always happy to help and seem very happy to work there with the exception of the World Cafe. We noticed over a period of the 3 nights we were staying there that there was a little battle going on with the local Madeiran staff and non local staff which to be honest is ugly and unacceptable. This happened to one of the cooks on station, he was shouted at by another cook which wasn't very nice. We also noticed this was done in front of guests which isn't very professional and we tried raising this with reception however, we were told to make any complaints through their website!! I informed the receptionist it wasn't a complaint but an observation but was ignored. Moving on, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everything except the world cafe staff was just as expected from a Hyatt brand. I understand the hotel is opening in phases but would suggest more entertainment in the evening. Food was exceptional Staff were professional (mostly) Facilities that were open were great Getting around, very easy Internet, very fast Using the App to reserve restaurants, activities, great idea Free minibar in the room

The property is beautiful and rooms were very nice. Pools were clean but freezing cold, as none are heated except in the spa and there’s no hot tubs either. Coffee shop was excellent, the young lady that works there was amazing. Gelato place was good. The sports bar left a lot to be “desired.” Workers were rude and after ordering drinks 2 times we never received them. Took an hour to get our food when we ordered before others who received theirs in a fraction of the time. The teppanyaki was amazing and our chef was a delight. Carvao was okay, ordered our steak medium and it came out well done. Buffet was subpar and dinner was often cold. Overall, this resort needs some work but it was fine for a few days.

Keine -erlaubten- Parkmöglichkeiten außerhalb des Resorts, innerhalb ist das Parken in der Tiefgarage möglich für 10€/Tag - diese Information wäre im Vorfeld gut gewesen. Ansonsten war das Personal wunderbar, sehr hilfsbereit und höflich. Die Qualität des Essens und die Auswahl waren der Wahnsinn, auch die Auswahl an Getränken und mit welcher Hingabe die Barkeeper die Cocktails zubereitet haben, erste Klasse. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen und wir kommen gerne wieder.
