Wonderful home and good communication from the host. My friends and I only stayed for one night for a weekend trip and had a great time. We all wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect little spot for our annual 4 person “bro” ski trip. The only negative thing is the water filter and pitcher had mold in it. Lucky I noticed it before anyone drank out of it! I attempted to clean it out but I don’t trust it for use anymore and it prob just needs thrown away.

We have stayed at several similar places in Eagle Ridge and this was the cleanest one we have ever seen. Wonderfully quiet, a perfect place to recharge the batteries and get away from it all.

Nice community. Very close to Maquoketa Caves state park which is great!
Seems like a town that has potential but nobody really strives to fulfill the needs. Kind of just a laid-back town the outside of the hotel with cigarette butts all over campers parked in the parking lot that you could tell were there more than just
Maquoketa is my hometown. It was great to be back.
A nice, quiet little town. Had many restaurants choices available. The caves are the main attraction.
The main street cafe had good food at good prices. The movie theater was good. The ticket prices were higher than expected, but the snacks were very reasonably priced.
The kayaking was great.
