The cabin is straight out of a dream. Water pressure in the shower felt great after a long day hiking. Kitchen pretty much had everything we needed to cook. “The location is incredible - lodging is clean, themed, spacious and sooooo comfortable. The fire pit downstairs is great for bonfires and S’mores. The river is right in front of the property and we fished and floated down the river on inner tubes. The hosts are great, friendly and available if you need them. Lots of trails nearby plus we saw all kinds of wildlife everyday. So excited to go back soon! If you are considering. A safe, friendly and fun vacation this is the place!!!”

“Plenty of rooms to have privacy as a bigger family, but it was perfect for the two of us and Chloe our service dog. It is a ways in the woods and I would recommend 4 wheel drive if you can. “We enjoyed our stay . The neighborhood was so quiet you felt like you were miles and miles from civilization but yet every convenience you needed was really just 10 minutes away. The home was clean and had everything we needed. Everything was in working order. Would def recommend for families looking for a getaway.”

This would be a perfect honeymoon or anniversary getaway for a couple. I would recommend coming with groceries that will last your entire stay--as a grocery store is not easily nearby. “We stayed at The Bowling Cottage for part of spring break. The cottage was absolutely gorgeous, had everything we needed for our stay, and was extremely clean. We enjoyed bowling and billiards at our leisure. Communication with the property manager was easy and clear, they are very responsive and helpful.
