“We had such a restful stay. The bed was soooo comfortable which allowed us the rest we so desperately needed. Both bedrooms had a beautiful courtyard garden view in the daytime and a view of the stary sky at night. Perfect! Loved the quality cookware, gas stove and table with an ocean view! Couldnt figure out how to turn on the fireplace but we'll certainly be back and next time we'll ask for directions so we can enjoy our wine in front of the fire. The only downside was leaving this paradise”

“My family enjoyed the property as it was big enough for everyone and pet friendly. We stayed during the rainy months and enjoyed playing games and cuddling up near the fire place. I strongly caution the very steep driveway. If you have a four wheel drive, that is preferred especially if it is wet out. Otherwise good accommodations.”

“This river side home was perfect for a few rainy days away during the holiday break with the family. It would be great during summer with it being right across the street from the Russian River. Our teens loved hanging out in the basement game room. Beds were comfortable and the wood for the stove was well stocked (once we found the kindling). Only small complaint were that the appliances are a little outdated but really we had everything we needed.”

“We had a nice time staying at Foxwood for a second time. We stayed last July. This house is cozy & has a great location close to River, beach , guernville, redwoods etc… it’s well equipped with comfortable beds, good lighting, games, it was nice soaking in hot tub after a long day of hiking. And we also enjoyed doing puzzles & board games on a rainy Friday. We will return again. The only thing we would recommend is that the kitchen could use a set of measuring cups & a sheet pan, griddle pan for...

“The house is very nice but located on a very narrow street with difficult parking. We had two larger cars. Parking is a narrow platform and turning radius was a challenge to say the least. The property description should include this information. We would not have stayed here if we had known. Nothing wrong with the house, just would have appreciated knowing about the parking challenge in advance since we had two vans. Also, the beds were a bit too soft.”

“We had a great time in Monte Rio. This house is in a great location, is well appointed and very comfortable. We loved that it had a sauna and hot tub. We also loved the backyard; very private and nicely landscaped. I highly recommend it!”

The home is fully stocked and looks professionally decorated. The sheets and towels were luxurious! The hot tub and pool table were a very nice added feature. We can't wait to visit again!”

“Jujube was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 labs. It’s so close to everything you would want; coast, redwoods and wineries. The dogs loved the river access and small beach a few doors down. Highly recommend this small but well equipped cottage. Thank you Bridgette for sharing your place!”
