Riverside Matlock Bath (1.5 miles) has a plethora of attractions such as Gulliver's Kingdom and the Peak District Mining Museum or, if you are feeling more adventurous, you can ride the cable cars to the Heights of Abraham hilltop park where you can experience cavern tours, walking trails and a children’s playground. Enjoy days out at the splendid Chatsworth House (8.5 miles), Haddon Hall (7.2 miles) and Crich Tramway Village (5.8 miles), or why not take advantage of good walking routes around the Derwent Valley and White Peak, which are within 20 miles.


    The front door is accessed via a flight of external steps down to the entrance. A spacious hallway has plenty of room to store coats and boots; it is also home to a matching fridge and freezer. Wander through to the kitchen with range cooker with electric hob, dishwasher, and microwave. In addition, there is a washing machine and tumble dryer on the first floor. There is also a downstairs WC. The lounge really has the wow factor, with high ceilings, huge windows, and patio doors leading out onto the garden. Relax with good company around the wood burner on the comfortable seating or gather around the dining table for that special celebratory meal - not forgetting to enjoy the memorable views. Head upstairs to the first floor where you will find the first bedroom which is a spacious and bright room with four large windows with glorious views. There is a super-king size bed and seating for some quiet downtime and an en-suite shower room with shower, his and hers sinks and WC. Next, you will find a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC. Take the stairs up to the second floor to a zip-and-link super-king-size bedroom (which can be made into a twin upon request) with four special window nooks overlooking the garden and over towards Riber Castle. There is a handy en-suite offering a shower and WC. Finally, you will find a further super-king zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made into a twin upon request) with a separate bathroom, offering a bath and WC.


    Outside there is a fully enclosed split-level garden. The first level offers outdoor dining furniture and a barbecue, providing a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy the summer sun. Take the steps down to the lower patio where you will find a covered hot tub, tucked away for privacy yet with wonderful views. The property has two reserved off-road parking bays and further on-road parking is available subject to availability.
