“Dark Canyon was indeed a great off grid experience. The 360-degree views around the cabin with no other humans around offered something not found very often. Sitting on the deck at sunset while enjoying a glass of whiskey and looking at the Bears Ears was truly a western experience. The sunrises make you want to get up early just to experience the beauty. It makes you understand the use of pink and turquoise in the Native American art of this region. The wildlife around the cabin was……

“Very nice facility. Fresh , comfortable , quiet and clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Had dinner at Dukes , the restaurant attached to the hotel. Waitress was wonderful. Food was ok. We had the mushroom ravioli pasta which wasn’t the best choice. Very dense, covered in a cream sauce and not much flavor. Remember it’s Utah. No alcoholic beverages served at the restaurant. ”

“What a fantastic place this is! The room, the view, the friendly owner has met every need possible. It felt homelike and special. Details such as a personal microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker and even our own ice maker make this even more special. Have a soaking spa tub and separate shower with multiple heads makes this place an 11 out of 10. ”
