The room was great. The staff was great however I was up till 1 o’clock in the morning, listening to music from the bar unfortunately we were on the first floor and I did not realize that they had live music playing.

Location was great ! Very cool rooftop patio and pool . Beautiful restaurant. The interior of the hotel felt very dark as well it shows it age . Could do for a freshen up , ie new flooring as the carpets were very old and stained

My stay at the Daydrift was ok. I'd says its less a hotel and more of an air b&b. There are no staff, no reception, no one to clean the rooms or anything. There is a whatsapp number that you can text should you need anything. The pro's of this property are that the rooms are big and comfy. The location is only a 10 minute walk to the beach, and about 25 to Ocean Drive. Negatives are no facilities, no staff on site and someone was banging down my door at 10.45 when check out is at 11am

The Daydrift is a beautiful hotel. Has all you need for a night or two clean room, with lovely bathrooms, Bed was ok a little too soft with wear to the middle. The lobby, restaurant and pool and exquisite beautifully designed great food staff amazing. Biggest drawback is the noise coming from the restaurant and bar below and outside after 11 all is quiet.

Overall the stay was great, the only issue we noticed what might have been mold in the bathroom vent but otherwise the hotel itself was nice and the staff was amazing. They responded back super fast and brought whatever we needed to our room quickly. After the staff would leave for the night the hotel doors would lock and can only be opened via access code so the hotel was very secure didn’t feel unsafe at all. Will definitely stay again (:

The location is great, close to shopping streets and the beach. Very nice there is a sun chairs to use fee of charge although you have to pay for the umbrella. Big negative is the lack of reception and the unavailability to store luggages after you check out. This caused is serious inconvenience. Apart from that everything else was okay

Loved the room, it’s spacious and clean. There is no hotel staff on property, but they are easy to contact by phone and will fix anything you need very quickly. Be aware there is a nightclub downstairs. We did have loud music until midnight on the Friday night, but very quiet after that. It’s a cute little hotel, but no food, but It’s close to everything, we liked the hotel and enjoyed our stay there. Our room opened up onto the pool area, which was really nice. The staff was friendly unhelpful. They give you water, and a tote bag with towels to take to beach about 3 blocks easy walk to beach. Can also take free trolley everywhere one block away

The room had roaches that had hatched, there were babies in the closet and on bed, I reported by text and I was told that there will be an investigation. Restaurant and Staff was very pleasant, professional and friendly and food was very delicious, I went for 2 nights. Also the room shower wasn't that hot in my opinion but my worse experience was the roaches, I couldn't sleep , kept wondering if a bug was going to crawl on me.

My frustrations began well before arriving at The Daydrift trying to complete the digital check-in using my phone. Fortunately, it worked using another device and my information was eventually verified. Upon arrival, it turned out the room I tried to access was occupied. And we confirmed soon after this painful incident, I was given the wrong room number. With the help of Raymel, who was working at the property at the time, I was able to check into another room but not without another delay until I received a new code. At no point during a phone call that I initiated with guest services was an apology made or anything offered beyond an acknowledgment that the room number texted to me was wrong. The location of the property is great and my stay was comfortable, however, my issues with poor communication, lack of professionalism, etc... makes it an easy decision not to stay here again.

The pool area was very small, not really large enough to swim, just sit and relax. The staff was very attentive when I reached out via text message and the staff during the morning was very nice and friendly. The entrance was very desolate when entering at night and if traveling solo, I would make sure to be very careful of your surroundings. The Room was nice, comfortable beds, excellent pressure on the shower and once in the room I felt very secure. I would stay here again, want to truly try the Restaurant on site. Due to not seeing other guest, I did not venture or tour any of the building (gym access) due to not feeling secure in my surroundings.

This hotel was a last minute decision and I don’t regret it. It was in a very quiet secluded area. The staff were very helpful. I found it a bit different because it’s not a person on site at all times, but they are very responsive via text and I found it nice because I didn’t have to actually TALK to someone every time.

Easy access to beach. Property was clean and well maintained, except the renovations but if renovations weren’t being done I’m sure the property would be much cleaner. Gas station access was clutch. I enjoyed my stay and this property will be my go to whenever I visit for vacation.
