"Our stay was brief but I wish it could have been longer. The home was exactly as described. The ride in was an adventure! The atmosphere of the property was perfectly peaceful. My kids told me when we were leaving that all other vacation homes will be measured against this one!"

"The 5 mile drive on a bumpy 2-track is well worth it when you reach the lodge and cabin on 160 acres with it's own private lake. We very comfortably slept over 20 men in the ample sleeping quarters. But the real gem is the huge gathering space in the main lodge. Beautiful views of the lake out one side and a kitchen/bar area on the other. A great place to congregate."

"Mike the host is Awesome. Beautiful home and an amazing stay. Mike makes it super easy to stay there so you can focus on relaxing and enjoying your stay. Mike is more than willing to offer advise on the best local places to visit and check out for a family staying at this home. Very peaceful and secluded in a great way. I have stayed there 3 times and will be staying many more times in the future."

"Roose’s Roost was the perfect cabin for our Fall trip. I wanted to see fall foliage and we didn’t even need to leave the camp for that. The yard was great size for the dogs to run around. We didn’t make it to Chris’ suggested hike to the sandy beach because of rain but maybe next year. The cabin was great, exactly what we needed. Thank you to Chris and Pam! Maybe we’ll see you next year!"
