“we wanted historic and got it. it was a very hot day, so any respite was good, and any annoyance would have been significant. fortunately, ez and comfortable. these hosts are from Boston, so it has New England laid back intelligence and class. the property itself is interesting. all the rooms looked interesting. the breakfast was maybe too much, though some probably like it that way. i think they could go lighter, though it's an impressive show and they are morning people! if you want to……

“We loved the history of the house itself as well as the section of the town it is located in. The manager was very informative about the history of the house, which we found interesting. Staff in general were knowledgeable about places to visit beyond the battle grounds, dinning options and some specifics about touring the National Park. Breakfast (at additional cost) was delicius ”
