“This was a big house with more than enough space for the six adults in our group. We especially loved the pool and hot tub, and we could see hummingbirds from the back porch in the morning. Table tennis was a hit with some people in our group as well, and the food at the restaurant on the property was good. The listing description is generally accurate, and we'd happily stay here again. But the house could use a little TLC (minor repairs) in places, and some brighter lighting, and the kitchen...

“Casa Cielo is a unique experience that typifies Costa Rica's laidback lifestyle and joy of the environment. We stayed 2 weeks and were awakened every morning by a pair of the local blue jays banging on the windows. We were visited by a troupe of Capuchin monkeys, a bold, red, tufted ear squirrel and a variety of birds. A gecko and baby iguana were in the bedroom- never caused problems, it was cool. Any organic food remains (apple cores, banana peels, watermelon rinds) were thrown out the window...
