Downstairs my mother-in-law stayed in the master bedroom. Her bathroom has a low 2 step up into the shower, which is great for her as she has mobility issues. “Nelson base camp is unique in its layout, lots of history displayed throughout. Host provided comforts for us, including the wood ready for the fire, hot tub with plenty of towels. We rally enjoyed our stay!”

“Great location and a cure little place to stay. Cameras at the front porch and back area felt too intrusive, there's a way to point the camera to the parking area only so guests sitting on a porch are not in the camera view. Also, only 2 towels were provided what is not enough even for 2 guests for 2 nights. ”

“This place is honestly magical. The property was so large and secluded with a perfect little trail out to the creek. We had such a clear night to enjoy the stars in the hot tub. Since it’s a little oasis, it was quiet enough to be able to hear some owls at night — barred and northern Pygmy owls! “My family and I all loved this location, amenities, and place itself. We all commented how we wanted to put the whole cabin in our luggage and take it home. It was perfect! During our stay the neighborhood was very quiet. We did not have any cellular service here, but the WiFi worked great! We appreciated knowing we would have it would once we arrived back to the cabin. I would absolutely stay here again!”

We only had a few notes on things like cleanliness and broken furniture (an easy fix if there would have been basic tools available).
