“Staff were great! I booked a none accessible room but specified in the comments for one. The staff reached out the next day about the handicap accessible room but they didn’t have any left. They moved my room to a more accessible room compared to the one I booked at no extra charge. We also were there during a tornado and staff handled it beautifully. I felt safe the whole time during the shelter in place. ”

“The building we stayed in was a bit outdated but to be expected. It did give off the “Dirty Dancing” resort vibes tho! Everyone was very nice! The weather was beautiful except the tornado that was north of us by 3 miles. We did take shelter in the conference area so that was a bonus. Overall it was a great time for our first time! ”

“After seeing some fairly negative reviews I was a little reluctant to book a stay, but I ended up taking the gamble and I’m glad I did, because I’ve gone to Breezy Point before and always had a great time, and this was a much more affordable option, right on the property! “The property was satisfactory for the price we paid, although it was annoying to have to up and move to another cabin for the last 2 days of our 7 day stay because the cabin owners wanted it for that week end, we booked it out for 7 days in a roe and had to repack everything and relocate in 5 days to then do it again 2 days later, the lady was nice but didn't offer anything to us for the in connivence, that would have been nice, oh well live and learn.”

“Shady Hollow deserves an easy 5 star rating. My husband and I stayed with our 5 children aged 1-8, and it was perfect. We all enjoyed the beach, beautiful lake view, swimming, paddle boards, fishing, pedal boat and kayaks, which was included in the cost. The lake was shallow enough for our kids to play safely and there were plenty of toys on the beach for them to use and build sand castles. Our kids loved going to the office to get a treat and talk to Diana, who was so accommodating. We did……

“The girls in my book club and myself had a wonderful stay! The cabin was nice and spacious and gave us plenty of space to spread out and read. The kitchen was fully equipped and allowed us to easily cook and eat in the home. The location is conveniently right off the main road and was very easy to get to. Management. Was really accommodating and allowed us to do early check-in, which was super nice! My only constructive feedback was I could not find any spare blankets in any of the closets. Also……
