“The property was easy to find, communication was good, and the location worked well for our needs, with a quick drive into Inverness. Street parking was also easy and convenient. Unfortunately, the apartment itself was quite tired and not particularly comfortable. There was an odd, musty odor on the first floor, and the stairs were steeper than expected. The shower had only fair to low water pressure. The biggest issue was the beds. Each bedroom had two very narrow beds that felt smaller than……

“DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. The phone number listed is out of service and there is NO WAY to contact anyone at this property, as it is managed by a third party. I booked 2 nights, tried to get ahold of someone to give us keys and instructions on how to check in and the phone number doesn't work. I contacted the property through Expedia and the management company got back to me 36 hours later. In the meantime, we had to drive 40 minutes out of Inverness to even find a hotel for the first night and……

I LOVED Paul's (owner/manager) attitude about closing out the house - "you are on vacation... you don't need to do anything except collect your things..." “Beautiful home in a tiny village. Very comfortable for three couples. Nice touches from the management. Tea cakes, shortbread, cereal, and milk were nice and welcoming. There was a nice personal greeting sign. Perfect.”
