"Loads of equipment in kitchen and some basic food items which made the first day really easy, great communication from hosts. The photos don't do justice to the garden - it's a really beautiful oasis. Pool nice size with great views. Downsides - access road is quite narrow/steep but you quickly get used to it. Beaches in this area less appropriate for swimming as sea quite rough but much quieter than in the south. Good access to nice walks. Less touristy than other areas. Did whale spotting, kayaking with dolphins, snorkelling and some hiking in Teide/Anaga mountains/around Oratava - all recommended!"

"It is a very clean resort in a beautiful neighborhood. Our room was updated and comfortable. In terms of the location, it is possible to walk to the city center within 25 min but the way back is uphill. The shuttle runs only during the day. One way taxi service is around 6 euros. We had the half board meal option. There was one buffet restaurant for all of the meals. While there was a lot of selection, the food is bland and repetitive every day. It is the same every day with minor variations. If you are staying for many days, it is better not to take the dinner. The hotel caters to mature guests. There wasn’t any music at the pool or any activities. The evening entertainment was low key. Overall, it was a nice quiet hotel in peaceful surroundings away from the center. "
