Museo de Caguas Tours

We stayed at this hotel b/c of a great deal we received from Expedia. The pictures where a bit deceiving, the rooms are very small...I mean tiny! And there is no door to the toilet, which wasn't that big of deal for my bf and I but still, a bit weird. The best part about the room is the shower, it had 3 showerhead options. That being said the staff is wonderful! It's quiet, safe and right across the street from a grocery store (and next to a secret speakeasy that made incredible craft cocktails!!) I also loved the little outdoor area. We always had it to ourselves. It was the perfect little place for our first visit to PR.

Everything very nice and clean. There is no permanent staff manning the front desk, but they are a call and a couple of minutes away. The area, Puerta de Tierra, is very safe and within walkable distance to El Viejo San Juan. Only complaint: at arriving, on Thursday, I let the front desk to know that it was my wife birthday the following Saturday, and ask for their help to prepare a small surprise for my wife (that I was going to pay for). The following day I was told that the owners, due to their religion, do not celebrate birthdays. I found that a weird reason. It is their religion, not mine, and I didn’t want them to celebrate anything, I was the one celebrating my wife birthday.
