We absolutely loved our stay at the Timberlodge Motel! The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, making it the perfect base for exploring the Alberni Valley. The staff were exceptionally friendly and check-in was seamless. Excellent location, great value, and super welcoming vibes. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

A pleasant surprise as we were passing by. Lovely owner - room was clean and newly renovated. Wish we had known about the on site restaurant - Japanese food. Next time! 😋

Everything was good , Japanese restaurant attached was awesome. Unfortunately, the Internet was not working. Tried several of the open ones they had which was hard to do any business as cell phone bars were one if not none. they also accommodated my first floor request with the service dog gave us a double room at no extra charge even though we just needed one bed.

We had an issue with our room but the office wasn’t open and there was no emergency line, so we didn’t get things sorted until the afternoon. They are also not open for checkout. Aside from the strange office hours, the staff are kind and the restaurant was yummy!

Stayed 2 nights. The staff were very helpful as we were booked into room 35 but internet tv & wifi didn’t work so the manager moved us to room 2 and she made sure internet & wifi were working in the room. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and we asked for extra face cloths, soap & shampoo. For the price of $127.00 per night it was a good place for a short stay for day trips to Tofino and surrounding area. Located adjacent to Highway 4 you will hear noise from traffic so would recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The place was full both nights we were there. Staff were always polite & accommodating.

The property looks unkempt both outside and in. It seemed clean enough but it's difficult to look past the rather aged and worn conditions of the rooms. There is a strong musty odour, and no fan in the bathroom doesn't help with this. The only air flow available in the bathroom is obtained by opening the window that is located in the shower, where you are then treated to the cigarette smoke of the guests smoking outside their rooms, and makes you visible to anyone outside your room. But...the beds were comfortable and the shower has a lovely strong pressure.

We were there for a night. We did a late check-in; they close at 10 pm, but one of the staff did her best to let us check-in. Everything was okay, just the stuff was old, that's it.

Room was comfortable and clean. Walls are quite thin, so we could hear conversations in the next room. Very friendly, helpful staff. Exterior looks a bit run down, and the view from our balcony was of old equipment and buildings. All in all, an affordable choice if you are only passing through. I would stay here again, but not for an extended stay.
