"Comments on both good and bad. There were icy spots on the walkway to our room which could have caused a serious fall. The bathroom was warm and appeared upgraded But the water pressure in the shower was very weak. Bath towels were small. My biggest complaint was the TV was OLD school. A small flat screen would have been nice. Lighting in the room was weak. The room was very warm. A very nice breakfast."

"We had a wonderful time, in spite of rain. The cabin was very comfortable and well stocked. It was literally less than a quarter of a mile to the hiking trails. Our dogs were very comfortable as well. One caveat. If you are coming in via RT. 209, do not turn off of Pine Kill Rd onto David Rhodes rd. Apparently GPS thinks you can go through, but it puts you on a dead end road. If you stay on Pine Kill, it will eventually route you the right way."

All logistics/ practicalities on point... communications gracious, the location is perfect, this cozy cabins minimalistic 70s charm is highlighted by having all windows & decks so you feel connected to outside even inside!! Perfect & charming... We celebrated the Solar Eclipse here and can't wait to come back before the next one, lol!!!"

"I’ve read some other comments about this being an older property. Honestly, any motel is going to be older. I found this motel to be in very good condition overall. My room was very clean and very comfortable. It was fully stocked with all of the typical hotel items. The kitchen was stocked with most anything you would need, though I only stayed one night and did not cook. The back yard was full of several small decks, grills, and other items that would allow you to enjoy a summer evening...

Fabulous view Spacious bathroom Very clean Very polite housekeeping Easy check in With very helpful staff The pool area is inviting clean plenty of lounge chairs The gym had enough equip Loved happy hour with D.J Lotus restaurant had great food and staff Steak house great waiter Tim Appetizers very good Main course duck dry not very good Great side dishes The spa is over priced Hair wash and dry list for 30.00 because she used hot iron it was 90.00 with no heads up! Gratuity is auto added Hairdresser never mentioned it and took the cash before I checked out! Only Tim and the waitress in the diner told us!!
