"We got the King ocean front room and had our own balcony. The room must have been recently updated as it was tastefully yet simply decorated. Everything was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The free breakfast was our choice of a “wrap” which was basically a hearty breakfast burrito, freshly made and brought to our door at the time we had requested. They provided orange juice with it. Coffee maker in the room was a Keurig, with pods provided. The most special thing for us was having that private balcony, overlooking Moonstone Beach. One of our favorite places to visit, and this was absolutely our favorite hotel on Moonstone Beach so far. "

"Our stay was great. The location is awesome and there are plenty of hikes and beaches to explore a short drive or bike ride from the grounds. Businesses out there in Big Sur have been in for a ride with all those Hwy 1 closures and the little issues they have stem from that - uncontrollable situation; They still do a good job. If you are snack addicts, go to the small convenience store by the gas station and be prepared to spend a lot of money. Top #3 key lime pie I have ever had is located here... Don't miss it!"
