“We had an amazing stay at Rose Mountain Lodge! The space was beautiful, comfortable, and incredibly well cared for. Every detail was thought through — from the cozy bedrooms and well-equipped kitchen to the outdoor spaces perfect for relaxing and taking in the view. The amenities were fantastic and made our stay feel extra special. It was the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway with friends and our pups, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!”

“The property was very isolated and inaccessible. We arrived late in the evening and had hard time locating the house. While a wonderful property, it was not what we were looking for. Its location so far from any expected venues for food, essentials and other expected amenities forced us to cut our stay there short to only one night. It was very disappointing.”

“Exactly as described! Beautiful views right on the coast. Interior is spacious for 2BR/1BA, loft was great for kids and my wife and I were able to stay in the enclosed bedroom. Bedding and mattresses were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Fire pit outside was enjoyable. The beach access (and the beach itself) was rugged but my kids still greatly enjoyed having the water right there. Saw whales offshore twice during our stay! We even took the host advice……

“The property is secluded in a very nice area, close to town and the Moran State park. The accommodations were comfortable but there is very little space for storing luggage while you are there.”

“The ocean view and the location was fantastic. It was clean with the exception of rhe screen on the bathroom widow which had a very thick layers of dust and the deck railing was really needed cleaning... included numerous spider wed and green slime. And the one long chair pillow was wet and had bird poop. And the screens on both sliding doors need replacing as those are ripped. Though I would still rent it again.”

I could see how in the middle of the summer, it would be quite busy and may not be quite as relaxing. But we enjoyed our stay very much!! It was nice how it was close to town but not so close that there were people everywhere. ”
