Return Visit

Stayed in this villa two years ago. Loved the situation and rebooked for this year. This time the villa was a lot cleaner and we made the best of the excellent weather. I would say that the outside of the villa is looking a bit worse for wear with trees hanging and damaging the pool screen and the paintwork is looking tired. Also fence on one side is down.

The pool is the main feature!!

This house is on a very quiet street, far enough from lots of the hussle and bussle of the Disney parks. Close to Walmart for supplies, and parks are 25ish quick mintues away! The house is older.. but the pool is the best part!!! (You need to pay to get it heated but worth the money for sure!) the Orlando 1st company was easy to deal with and got us a coffee pot(it was broken) and blender over night through amazon(got left at the door:) The only negative thing I would say about this place is that it only comes w/ the “very” basics…. So you need to bring ordinary kitchen things as you need them when packing lunches. So things like tin foil, Pam cooking spray, dish washer/ laundry tabs, lunch baggies… there is bare bones, which is okay as long as you pack it. Butbonce again… the heated pool and hot tub was amazing!!

Nice house , Great location.

This house is overall very nice. It met my family's standards. The location was great as it is near shopping locations, restaurants and all the theme parks.

Disney World Vacation

Although this was a cute older little home in a very nice location, there were negative items that warrant mention. The mattresses were terrible! Very old and uncomfortable, as were the sheets (old, bad fitting). My granddaughter’s bedroom and bath were not well cleaned and the window next to the bed leaked, leaving the carpet wet and smelly. Also, there were insects in the house, including a huge slug crawling up the wall in the 3rd bedroom! My bathroom had what appeared to be black mold in the seams of the shower tile and the shower head was very old and moldy. One very inappropriate requirement of the property management was the need for us to drive to another location several miles away to sign paperwork for them, as they were incapable of sending the documents to us electronically - very unusual in this day and age. That meant we had to take time out of our vacation to fulfill their request. IMPORTANT: This requirement was not mentioned in the VRBO listing by the owner and when we brought this up with the management company, they were very rude. On the positive side, the kitchen was well stocked and pleasant to use. The living and extra sitting areas were cute and nicely furnished. The pool was excellent and a great size. Price was reasonable and fair. We would Not pick this property again.

Decent accomodations

My spouse, children, and I rented the property the middle of June. House is located at the end of cul de sac in quiet neighborhood. Definitely met our needs. Property is relatively clean but could use some updates. During our stay, the a/c quit working, assuming previous renters turned thermostat down too low, as we hadn't touched the thermostat at all. We discovered we were without a/c around 4pm. Property management company was easy to contact and were able to have someone come out that evening. They couldn't fix it until next day, so the management company sent several fans over to help. The rest of our stay was comfortable. The house is a short drive from tons of restaurants, several grocery stores, and WDW. Overall, good experience!

Not Rented by Homeowner

We have used VRBO before and have had excellent experience. This was the first time renting where we were not 100% satisfied. It wasn't until I paid deposit that we found out this property is not Rented by the owners BUT by a rental company instead. This required a lot of additional personal information given out to a strange company (not VRBO or owner.) No where is the listing does it talk about paying to heat the pool!!! That costs an additional $30 a day/ minimum of 4 days!! Would have been fine but the pool was Ice Cold, so we had to spend an additional $130. Who advertises a hot tub but doesn't heat it?? Definitely not what we expected!!! As far as maintenance goes, the house has definitely been neglected!! Sad to see such a beautiful property not being taken care of properly. We will not recommend this property or return.
